OJR Grounds Management

One team. One schedule. Grounds that stay right.

Larger grounds don’t suit occasional visits. Lawns, edges, hedges and borders drift out of shape quickly, and catching up is never quite the same as keeping on top.

OJR Grounds Management provides recurring, planned maintenance for substantial private properties. We assess your grounds, agree a programme with you and then attend on a fixed schedule with a dedicated two-person team — so your grounds are presented consistently, week after week, without you having to organise it.

How our programmes work

Properties we look after

For grounds that need more than a gardener

Our programmes are designed for larger private properties, typically with a quarter of an acre or more of maintained grounds.

01

Substantial detached homes

Large private gardens with extensive lawns, mature hedging and established borders.

02

Country houses

Formal and informal grounds where presentation matters from the gate to the back boundary.

03

Private estates

Multiple lawns, long hedge lines and approaches that need planned, regular attention.

04

Farmhouses & rural properties

Generous rural grounds around the home, kept tidy and in proportion through the season.

What’s included

Complete, ongoing grounds care

Every programme is built around your property. These are the core elements we manage on a regular, scheduled basis.

Lawns

Regular mowing of extensive lawns, with crisp edging and strimming to finish every visit.

Hedges

Cutting and shaping to keep boundaries, screens and formal hedging neat and in proportion.

Borders

Ongoing border maintenance — tidying, deadheading, cutting back and keeping beds well defined.

Weed management

Consistent attention to beds, paths and hard edges so weeds never get a foothold.

Seasonal work

Leaf clearance, cutting back and the seasonal tasks that keep grounds in order through the year.

Grounds upkeep

General tidying of driveways, approaches and outdoor areas, with garden waste managed where included.

Why recurring grounds management

The difference is consistency

Consistency, not catch-up

Regular scheduled attendance keeps grounds at a steady standard, rather than rescuing them after weeks of growth.

One point of responsibility

No juggling separate gardeners and contractors. One team, one schedule and one person to speak to.

A plan for the whole season

Your programme anticipates the season — growth in spring, peak mowing in summer, leaves and cutting back in autumn.

Presentation you can rely on

Your grounds look cared for when you arrive home, when guests visit and through every month of the season.

How it works

From first conversation to first visit

  1. Request an assessment

Tell us about your property in a short enquiry form. It takes around two minutes.

  2. An initial conversation

We call to understand your grounds, what you expect from them and how you would like them looked after.

  3. Grounds assessment

We walk the grounds with you, noting lawns, hedging, borders, access and waste. The assessment is free and there is no obligation to proceed.

  4. Your written proposal

You receive a tailored maintenance programme setting out scope, visit frequency and a clear monthly fee.

  5. Your programme begins

A dedicated team attends on a regular schedule, keeping the grounds consistently presented through the season.
